Our Concepts

  • Komo is a modern Japanese restaurant concept in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. Executive Chef Macku Chan, known for his exceptional reputation of all things sushi showcases a new dimension to his cuisine, combining two traditional coursed eating styles “Kaiseki” and “Omakase”.   • ESCO is a Latin discoteca above Komo restaurant with a separate private back alley entrance. The rum barreled speakeasy style entrance is modeled after the dimly lit hallways of Castillo San Felipe (castle) in Cartagena, Colombia. Open weekends for your after dinner drinks and late night food menu. See more.

  • Shogun is a Japanese whiskey & dessert den in the heart of West Loop Chicago. COMING SOON - NOV 2023

  • Chef Macku Chan created Macku Sushi in the heart of Lincoln Park. He focuses on private dining experiences with utmost attention to detail and seasonally fresh ingredients.

  • La Caja is a double entendre, while the literal definition is “the box” it also is the “tambor”—a signature snare drum central to Latin rhythms. At La Caja, we curate an immersive Caribbean night, seamlessly blending sensory delights with elite live performances the moment you walk in.

  • Komo Terrace is casual bar meets Japanese steakhouse. We aim to deliver hot new trendy menu items with incredible quality and presentation, however with a bit more of a reasonable a la carte price point. As Asian, Japanese, sushi and all the surrounding continue to gain popularity we feel there’s still room in Chicago to launch a premium rooftop brand with Japanese flair.
